How you goin? Strange Australian Greeting...

The first week in Australia Mommy and Daddy took me to the Hunter Valley which is apparently a top wine region. You'll see a pick of me and a glass of chardonnay. They have some great chard in that region! We stayed in a cabin on 100 acres of forest. There were kangaroos with their joey's in our yard. We saw lizards (dragon snakes are actually the real name). And, we lounged in the sunshine from our amazing deck.

G'day Mate... Packing for Australia

Mommy and Daddy are taking me on an adventure of a lifetime. We are headed to Australia! In preparation Mommy wanted to make sure that I would fit in the checked bag, just in case, and that I looked cool in my stylin shades. Am I hot or not?

Hi Guys, I'm 4 Months Old!

Can you believe it? Four months already. At the doctor I weighed almost 15 pounds and am getting quite tall. I thought I would pose for this picture but when I'm not posing I am pretty much tasting everything in sight. Getting back to the pose, what do you think? Like the basket? Mommy was doing my laundry and I thought I'd just jump into the basket - what a perfect shot!

Daddy's Arm Tastes Good...

Lately I've aquired a taste for just about anything I can stick in my mouth. I particularly like Daddy's arm, Mommy's fingers, the green and white pokka dot blanket that Mimi made for me and my little lamb that auntie Mel gave me. Though I have to say they all could use a little salt :)

Special Time with Mimi

I feel so special after spending time with Mimi. She loves and cuddles and plays with me endlessly. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful Mimi in my life.

Naomi Picked on Me!

My cousin Naomi is the cutest little lady I've ever seen! Which is why I had to immediately forgive her for using her advanced motor skill development to her advantage and pick on me! We had loads of fun together!! I can't wait to see her at Christmas and play again... watch out little lady because I'm learning how to use my hands pretty quickly these days!

We visited Canada the last week in October and Auntie Tricia came to meet me! She brought her friend George too and he was very nice. I felt completely in love with Auntie Tricia - you would too if you knew her! I can't wait to see her at Christmas and am hoping to see George again too.

Uncle Noel is Stylin'

Uncle Noel came to visit and shared his fun stories of Italy. He has really picked up some cool style from those Italian designers. I'm certainly going to be taking style cue's from him!

I Hate Laundry!

Mommy thought it would be a good idea to put me to work and start folding laundry. I think she was a little eager because I didn't help much! And, when I am able to this will certainly be a chore that earns allowance!

Sleepy Sunday

We have been spending our Sundays relaxing at home but on this special Sunday we were pretty tired so daddy suggested we go to brunch. We sat outside and watched the Angels (air show) fly overhead. It was nice to spend the lazy day outside in the fresh air.

Learning to Sit

I'm learning to sit up but don't quite have the strength yet so I get a little help from my red and white striped pillow. I like sitting up like Mommy and Daddy and hope to be able to do it all by myself soon.

Building up Neck Strength

So I understand that I've got to have good control of my neck before Mommy will let me sit in a chair all by myself. I'm really looking forward to a little independence (as you could guess based on Mommy and Daddy's personality) so I've been working out! Everyday Mommy spends some time with me while I'm on my tummy. I can lift my head and hold if for at least 30 seconds now... that chair isn't too far away at this pace!

Swinging with the Bees

Mommy and Daddy got me a new toy that swings! At first I wasn't sure about it but the more and more I get used to it I love it! Not only does it swing but it plays some of my favorite tunes AND I get to play with my friend Beauty the Bee and No Name (I haven't decided on the name of the other bee yet).

My good friend Mark makes me laugh and smile. My Daddy thinks it's because he's so funny looking!

Meet the Gigis!

I finally got to meet Gigima (great grandma) and Gigipa (great grandpa) while in Portland at 7 weeks old. Gigipa gave mommy a short version of our family geneology that she will share with me when I'm a little older. Thanks Gigipa for doing the work so that I'll know where these very good looking genes come!

Grandma and Grandpa had a BBQ in my honor. There were some fun visitors but my favorite moments were just hanging out with Grandma and getting all her loves.

During that same visit at uncle Tom's my grandpa played with all of us cousins. He kept grabbing our noses and they would just disappear and reappear a little later.... I think grandpa knows some magic!

I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday night than chillin with Grandpa. We talked, bounced, listened to some music, played on the activity mat and then Grandpa let me fall asleep in his arms. I think Grandpa is pretty special and I know that he feels the same way about me!

Cousins Tommy & Matthew

At 7 weeks old I took my first big adventure on an airplane to visit mommies side of the family. The first night in Portland my uncle Tom and aunt Tera made mommy and daddy an amazing dinner and I got to play with my cousins Tommy and Matthew. Tommy is a pretty big kid - 4 years old. Matthew is closer to my age as he just turned 8 months. My uncle Tom is pretty cool... he built Tommy a swing out of some old lumber he was using to make a deck. You should see how high he could get this thing going. Mommy told me I was too little to try so maybe next time...
